Our Story
Gavin's passion for Thoroughbreds began on his family's stud farm in Co Cork, Ireland, where he developed a deep understanding of the bloodstock and horse racing industry. After earning a degree in International Commerce with French, he pursued his dream of training horses in France, learning from some of the world's top trainers, including Jim Bolger, André Fabre, and Graham Motion. Gavin began training in Chantilly in 2018, quickly achieving success, including multiple winners and standout performances such as Flighty Lady's third-place finish in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac on Arc day. Gavin's dedication to maximizing each horse's potential, combined with the world-class facilities at Chantilly, ensures a professional and rewarding experience for owners.
Alice, Gavin's partner, brings a wealth of experience from her time working with renowned trainers such as David Evans, Venetia Williams, and Robert Cowell in the UK, as well as stints in the U.S. and Australia. After meeting Gavin while working in France, the couple moved to America, where Alice worked for Michael Matz, and then to Australia, where she shadowed Physio Tom and worked with Peter Snowden. Now, Alice splits her time between riding, office management, and her work as a qualified equine massage therapist and Magnawave practitioner. Together, Gavin and Alice lead a passionate and dedicated team focused on ensuring the well-being and success of every horse in their care.
